Things to See & Do in Yamba
Yamba is a delightful coastal resort town at the mouth of the Clarence River surrounded by seven unspoiled beaches, national parks and Lake Wooloweyah. Situated in the Northern Rivers region of Tropical New South Wales, Yamba has a superb climate all year through.
The Lower Clarence is a water wonderland with islands, lakes, beaches rivers and creeks to swim surf fish and explore as much or as little as you desire.
The Lower Clarence Visitors Centre overlooks the Clarence River at Ferry Park on the Pacific Highway at the southern entrance to Maclean. This centre provides tourist information services and also has an excellent art and craft gallery and restaurant. It's a great place to pick up local maps and brochures, sip coffee or a cool drink beside the river and purchase locally made products.
